Evolution of The Art of Pitching: The Big Data syndrome
May 11, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
$5.00
Public relations is more art than science. This is evident from the fact that it takes a creative mind to write a strong pitch that evokes a journalist’s intrigue and excitement, and inspires him/her to write that positive media piece about your client. Pitching a product, service, or your client’s unique story to the media to secure a placement in their esteemed publication or television segment, requires a public relations professional to be adept with the right facts and a thorough knowledge of the reporter and the platform they choose to deliver the pitch.
With the emergence of social media, PR pros have expanded their pitching mediums, and made digital platforms a popular trend for getting the story out.
This brings us to our topic of discussion – How has the art of pitching evolved over the years? How has the transition affected media outreach tactics? What is the myth of ‘The Big Data’ and what role does it play in your pitch?
Join us: Wednesday, May 11,
At: 632 Broadway, suite 901 (corner of Bleecker), New York, NY
as we bring to you an esteemed panel of public relations professionals and media mavens talking about the evolution of pitching.
Agenda:
