April 24 @ 8:00 am - 10:30 am$35.00
In the ongoing backlash against sexual misconduct in the workplace signified by #MeToo, every business must protect itself from a sudden reputation crisis that could cause lasting – or even irreversible – damage to its company or client.
The misconduct of a single employee, sexual or otherwise, can unleash a frenzy of public outrage. Such a crisis can strike at any time. No organization is immune.
On Tuesday, April 24, 2018, the New Jersey Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA NJ) will present a panel of experts who will discuss best practices for managing crises that strike from within as well as the social media firestorms, lawsuits and government investigations that typically ensue.
The event will be held at the Tabula Rasa Gallery & Event Space in Rahway, NJ, from 8:00 until 10:30 a.m.
Each of PRSA NJ’s two panelists have more than 25 years of experience in their respective fields. They will discuss best practices for both PR practitioners and HR managers. They are Jon Goldberg, founder and Chief Reputation Architect of Reputation Architects Inc. in Roseland, NJ, and Kathleen Connelly, a partner in Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper in Westfield, NJ.
